Maison Vivi candles are made with a natural coconut wax blend and scented with our unique blends of pure essential oils, which can support you in your wellbeing journey. Our candles are completely natural, containing no chemical fragrances or any other boosters. To obtain the candle’s full aromatherapy benefits, you will find the aroma performs better in smaller spaces. Allow to burn for a minimum of 1 – 2hrs to allow the oils to gently warm through and release their aroma. Take a few deep breaths of the warmed oils and enjoy the experience.
Candle care
Always keep your candles out of reach from children and pets and never leave a burning candle unattended
- Remove all packaging, including the candle lid and place the candle on a heat resistant, level surface
- Do not attempt to light any candle if the glass is cracked or damaged
- Keep candles away from draughts and flammable materials
- Ensure candles are always kept at least 15cm apart and allow ample headroom for the heat from the flame
- Always keep your candles away from any other heat source
- On first use, burn your Maison Vivi candle for a minimum of 4 hours to ensure a good molten pool of wax and release of the Essential oils
- For best results, on each subsequent use, burn your candle for a minimum of 2 hours but no more than 4 hours
- Take care when putting out the flame. For best results, we suggest extinguishing the flame using a candle snuffer. Alternatively, you can carefully place the candle lid for a few seconds over the candle to starve the candle of oxygen. Extinguishing your candle carefully in one of these ways eliminates the risk of wax spilling or soot build up on the jar, which will ensure a clean burn of your candle
- Candle jars can become very hot in use; always allow the wax to cool and harden before moving
- Trim the wick to 5mm between burns; you can do this by using a special wick trimmer
- Always make sure the wick is upright and centred before each burn
- Keep the wax pool clear of dust and debris such as match heads and any wick you may have trimmed
- Stop using the candle when approx 1cm of wax remains
- After use, the candle jar can either be recycled or repurposed
- To clean the jar (to either recycle or reuse), you first need to remove the last of the wax from the container. The easiest way to do this is to pop the jar in the freezer for a few hours; the wax will shrink from the sides with the cold, making it easy to remove, along with the metal sustainer. After removing the jar from the freezer, allow this to come to room temperature for a little while, and you can then dispose of the leftover wax and sustainer in the usual household rubbish. After removing the wax and sustainer, you can then wash the jar and put this in with your regular recycling, or you can repurpose the jar by using it around the home as a pen pot, make-up brush storage holder, tea light holder or a small vase for example
